80’s and 90’s logo challenge

This month I wanted to talk to you about  the importance of a MEMORABLE, ICONIC and POWERFUL logo.

And I came up with this idea: I'll show you some logos, and you have to guess what is the brand / product / movie / TV show / etc… (I’ll share the answers in the next post)

Sounds easy, but you'll notice that some logos are easier to remember than others, unless you are a fan of that product and you would recognize it with your eyes closed, like everyone would with the Apple one. 

So, first of all… how many of these 80’s and 90’s logos can you recognize?

It wasn’t that easy, right? I guess we can all identify number 2… but what about number 7?

Maybe you are wondering if your logo is a good logo at this point.
You can use the following questions to make sure your logo is MEMORABLE, ICONIC and POWERFUL.

  1. Is it simple? (Can it be quickly identifiable?)

  2. Is it timeless? (Is it a “trendy” logo or it will still look good in 5 years?)

  3. Is it versatile? (Does it still look good in different scenarios and sizes?)

  4. Is it relevant? (Does it reflect your brand’s personality?
